What Is Aluminum Coil & Sheet?
Aluminum coil and sheet are lightweight, corrosion-resistant metal bases supplied for fabrication, cladding, and panel applications. Because aluminum forms a natural oxide layer, it resists rust without a metallic coating — making it a strong choice for coastal, humid, and weather-exposed environments where steel eventually struggles.
At roughly one-third the weight of steel, aluminum delivers more coverage length per ton, so the real cost per meter is often more competitive than the per-ton price suggests. Depending on the finish, it arrives ready to roll, form, cut, and install — with no secondary painting or texturing required at your facility.
Everesteel supplies aluminum in two main product families:
- Prepainted Aluminum — a smooth, color-coated surface for roofing, gutters, facades, and decorative panels.
- Embossed Aluminum — a raised-texture surface that adds rigidity, hides handling marks, and provides slip resistance.
The right product depends on your application, environment, and whether a color finish or a functional texture leads your specification.

Why Choose Everesteel Aluminum Coil & Sheet
Direct from the Manufacturer — No Intermediary
Every coil is produced at Everesteel's own factory in Jiangyin, Jiangsu, on our own coating and embossing lines. You are not buying from a trading company. That means direct control over your specifications, direct accountability for quality, and no margin added by a middleman.
Lightweight — More Coverage Per Ton
At roughly one-third the weight of steel, one ton of aluminum yields about three times the coil length at the same thickness. For roofing, gutters, and cladding priced by area, that changes the real cost math in your favor.
Rust-Proof in Coastal and Humid Conditions
Aluminum's natural oxide layer keeps it corrosion-free where steel struggles. Paired with PVDF and FEVE coatings on prepainted products, roofs and facades hold their color for 20+ years in demanding outdoor environments.
Custom Colors and Patterns Matched In-House
Standard architectural colors are held on file, and custom RAL, Pantone, and decorative finishes are formulated directly on our lines. Custom emboss profiles are tooled in-house, with a lab drawdown and production sample provided for approval before mass production.
Downstream Processing — Coil, Slit, or Sheet
Slitting, cut-to-length, embossing, lamination, and custom color matching are all available in-house. Your material can arrive in the exact format your production line needs — not just as master coil.
Buyers in 65+ Countries
Everesteel supplies procurement teams and panel manufacturers in over 65 countries, with a 98.7% on-time delivery rate and more than 6,800 global buyers served.

Applications by Industry
Processing Capabilities
Downstream processing is available in-house — orders can be delivered in the format your production line requires, not just in master coil form.
Slitting
Coils can be slit to custom widths from 20 mm and above. Tight width tolerances and clean slit edges reduce material waste and downstream handling.
Cut-to-Length
Sheet blanks cut to specified dimensions with flatness and squareness tolerances suitable for direct forming, panel fabrication, or ACP lamination feeding.
Embossing
Structural or decorative emboss patterns applied in-line. Common patterns include stucco, orange peel, diamond, and custom tooled profiles that stiffen thin gauges.
Lamination
Protective or decorative films applied to the coated surface for transit protection, enhanced scratch resistance, or additional decorative effect on visible panels.
Custom Color Matching
Paint formulation adjusted to match a customer-provided physical sample or color code. Approval sample provided prior to production run.

Quality Control and Certifications
Everesteel maintains a documented quality management system across every stage of production — from incoming substrate inspection through to final coil labeling and packaging.
In-process controls include:
- Incoming aluminum substrate inspection (alloy, temper, thickness, surface quality)
- Coating film thickness measurement at the coating line
- Adhesion testing (cross-cut and T-bend)
- Gloss and color measurement against approved reference standards
- Pattern depth and uniformity checks across coil width for embossed sheet
- Pencil hardness and flexibility testing for selected grades
- Final dimensional check prior to packaging
Test reports and material certifications (mill certificates) are issued with each shipment. Third-party inspection — including SGS, BV, and CCIC — can be arranged on request prior to loading. Our certifications and documented quality controls support buyer qualification, export compliance, and consistent product quality across repeat orders.
Custom Specification Service

FAQs
Q1. What is the difference between prepainted aluminum and embossed aluminum?
Both start from the same corrosion-resistant aluminum base — the difference is the surface. Prepainted aluminum carries a smooth, factory-applied color coating (PE, PVDF, or FEVE) for roofing, gutters, facades, and decorative panels where color hold and weatherability lead the specification. Embossed aluminum is passed through patterned rollers to create a raised texture that adds rigidity, hides handling marks, and provides slip resistance — the choice for insulation jacketing, trailer panels, and anti-slip flooring. Embossed sheet can also be color-coated where texture and color are both required.
Q2. Which aluminum alloy should I choose?
It depends on the application. The 1000 series (1100) is soft, pure aluminum for insulation jacketing and interior work. The 3000 series (3003, 3004, 3105) offers higher strength and is the standard for roofing, gutters, downspouts, and general panels. The 5000 series (5052) delivers extreme corrosion resistance and hardness for marine environments, facades, trailers, and flooring. Share your project details and climate, and we will recommend the right alloy.
Q3. PVDF vs PE coating — which is better?
It depends on exposure. PE (polyester) is cost-effective for interior and low-UV applications, with a typical service life of 8–10 years. PVDF (fluorocarbon, Kynar 500) offers the best UV and weather resistance for outdoor roofing and cladding, lasting 20+ years. FEVE is a premium option for high-end architectural finishes. For anything roof-exposed or coastal, we recommend PVDF or FEVE.
Q4. Can aluminum coil and sheet be used outdoors?
Yes. Aluminum’s natural oxide layer makes it rust-proof, and PVDF or FEVE coatings hold their color under sun, rain, and salt air. Prepainted and embossed aluminum are both well suited to outdoor roofing, gutters, facades, trailers, and shutters — particularly in coastal and high-humidity environments where steel is more vulnerable.
Q5. Does the emboss pattern really add strength?
Yes. Pressing a stucco or diamond pattern into thin aluminum increases surface rigidity, so a lighter gauge holds its shape better than a smooth sheet of the same thickness. This lets you specify a thinner, lighter sheet in many jacketing and panel applications without losing stiffness.
Q6. Is Everesteel a manufacturer or a trading company?
Everesteel is a manufacturer. Every coil supplied is produced at our own factory in Jiangyin, Jiangsu, on our own coating and embossing lines. We do not source product from third-party mills and resell it. Buying factory-direct means your specification is controlled at the source, and you have direct access to our technical team throughout the process.
Q7. What is the minimum order quantity?
Our standard minimum order quantity is 3 tons per specification. For standard colors and common patterns such as stucco, a lower MOQ may be possible when we hold stock coils. For custom colors, non-standard alloys, or custom emboss tooling, we recommend 5–10 tons to cover setup and formulation costs.
Q8. How does custom color matching work?
Submit a RAL code, Pantone reference, or physical sample. Our technical team produces a lab drawdown — typically within 5–10 working days — for your review. Once you approve the color and specification in writing, we schedule full production. A production-run sample can also be provided for final approval before the complete order is processed.
Q9. Can you supply material as slit coil or cut-to-length sheet rather than master coil?
Yes. We operate slitting and cut-to-length lines in-house. Coils can be slit to custom widths from 20 mm and above, and sheet blanks can be cut to your specified dimensions with flatness and squareness tolerances suitable for direct forming or press feeding. Coils use standard “Eye to Sky” or “Eye to Wall” export packing, and sheets are interleaved with protective paper where required and palletized for safe export.
Q10. What is the typical lead time for aluminum orders?
Standard lead time is 15–25 days from order confirmation and deposit receipt. Custom colors requiring new paint formulation or custom emboss tooling may add 7–10 days for sample approval. Expedited scheduling may be available depending on production capacity at the time of order. We confirm your lead time when we respond to your inquiry.
